Emergency Response

All suites are equipped with an Emergency Response System that can be activated by pressing a button on the wall, or with a wireless pendant, bracelet or washroom pull cord.  When activated, the system allows 2-way voice communication with the staff on-duty.

Sprinkler System

All suites at Buckingham Manor are covered by our sprinkler system as well as the appropriate heat detectors, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, connected to our central fire alarm panel.  Additionally, our entire fire safety and sprinkler system is remotely monitored by an outside company that can initiate contact with emergency services directly, in the event of an alarm.

Bathrooms

All suites are equipped with private four piece bathrooms and ceiling mounted heat lamps on timers.  Some suites are available with walk-in showers.

Telephone

Each suite at Buckingham Manor is equipped with an active telephone line.  Residents are billed monthly for the use of the telephone line.

Cable Television

Each suite at Buckingham Manor is equipped with active basic cable television.  Residents are billed monthly for the use of the cable television service.  Additional packages or features are available for purchase directly from Rogers Cable.

Suite Heating

The heating in each suite is individually controlled for comfort.  Many suites also offer individually controlled air conditioning.
